I painted this Aarakocra Paladin to look like a blue-and-gold macaw. Played around with some drybrushing here and there. How did I do?

love this! would love to see the drybrushing really pushed on the wings and feathers- though i really struggle with feather texture lol. it looks incredible!

Thank you so much! ^^ Actually, I did add some drybrushing effects on the top of the wings (where the light hits), but you can't see it on this picture. Drybrushing feathers can be tricky for sure :O I have a lot to learn myself.

Way better paint control. Lovely color choice. Advance high lighting if you want to explore it. A lighter blue along those riddles , but you don’t have to do any of that if you want want to.

Thank you Helix! I'm very happy with this one too. I actually re-did the highlights on the wings using drybrushing after I took this photo. The Aarakocra looks even better now.
