Here we have 
jeso take on Naote.
I was thrilled to get a chance to a commission, from one of the artists I have followed since who knows how long ago, and always wondered how would Naote look in his style. Well, I got what I wanted, and I feel... how to put it "divided".
I try to explain. We agreed to design clothing for her. As you all may noticed Naote in my works wears nothing at all. So an upgrade for her wardrobe is long overdue. From someone else than me as obviously, I failed in the wardrobe department.
I got what I wanted after a very long wait. A lot more than I wanted. The clothing and the theme is really great. I think the organic look of the attire, is just what Naote needed. All those eyes. So far so good, then why I'm "divided"?
Well, Naote didn't just get new clothes, but kind of a new look as well. It makes things complicated as it would be hard to justify that Naote has 2 different looks. Okay in late lore she turns out to be a shape-shifter so she could look like this, in theory. I just liked the original silver-haired version more. + continuity.
It makes me think though that Styrpe (Android Naote) and Jeso also discarded the silver hair when they retouched the design to blackish hair. Why is that?
Anyhow Naote got a sit on a dragon's head so that's a win.

Details like this make my mind go around them a lot.
I would have preferred to talk about these with them. I have been on both sides of the spectrum, as I did comm's in the past. I had to adjust things for the customers they didn't like in my approach. It was hard because I liked my ideas better, but the customer paid for his/her vision not mine so things were adjusted. In this case, there was no communication we went from 0% to 100% done, and while the outcome is great and all, there are those details that will bug me forever. The "divided" part, that could have been fixed with a little bit of chatting.

Egyrészt az elégtelen kommunikáció, másrészt meg a részletekbeni hézagok is elősegíthették ezeket a változtatásokat. Alapból Naote haja hasonlít a raszta hajra, amiből meg való életben nem igazan fordul elő szőke/vörös/ősz. Illetve, ez a fakta haj emlékeztet még a Yautja faj hajára is, ami szintén fekete.
Android Naote esetében meg amiatt tűnik logikusnak a fekete haj, mert ahogy néztem a hajkoronát mostmár adatkábelek sokasága alkotja, a kábeleknek (akár adatkábelről, akár tápkábelről legyen szó) a burkolata gyakorta fekete műanyag szokott lenni (csak az utóbbi pár évben kezdett elterjedni a fonott vászonburkolat).
