"In the expanses of the Abyssal Wastelands, almost every two bit warlord just has to have a threatening name
and the theatrics to go along with it. The Visimars of the nomadic Vulpine Free Corps fleets seem to have refined this
into an art to the point that it's hard to take seriously. If you ever meet a Vulpine commander with a
name or title like "Cuddles the All-loving", that's when you should actually be afraid."

Well, I've already got a few images of some of their stuff in my gallery(the infantry and the combat vehicle.) but I've still got to work more on doing some ships and more for them as well.
As far as their military doctrine is concerned, they have a very "brute force" way of handling things, with a "bigger is better" mentality(in other words, expect capital ship spam when it comes to their navy.) this puts them at an advantage when it comes to stand up fights, but leaves them more vulnerable when it comes to hit and run tactics or chasing faster enemies down.
In a nutshell the basics of the IGSA are that they're one of the bigger factions in this setting. Viewing themselves as your usual "Federation of planets" archetype you find in a lot of sci-fi. In a much more black and white sci-fi setting they'd be "the good guys" (and their color schemes reflect that optimism). However, given that my preferences for worldbuilding tend more towards "humourous Crapsack universe with no true "good" faction", the IGSA has a much greater emphasis on throwing it's weight and power around for it's many corporate interests as well as it's massive military industrial complex.(Independent planets with useful resources are free game for becoming "liberated" after all.) Despite "technically" being one of the largest and wealthiest factions in the setting, much of it's infrastructure is crumbling after centuries of mismanagement, and it's military and political leadership is heavily incompetent and corrupt, with corporations holding a large sway over many of the nation's planetary governments.
For all of the IGSA's flaws of course, the other major factions in the setting aren't much better, with some of them being even arguably worse places to live.
With all that being said, all of this lore is still a work in progress and subject to change, I don't have anything too set in stone for this universe other than some of the basics so far.
