I actually had a Ponyslug doodled in a little sketchbook a long, long time before the new show came out, but it was the 80s pony style. It's cute, but I love the Friendship is Magic style (I still haven't even watched the show, though.)
And yes, Ponyslug's cutie mark is a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Honestly it could be any kind of food and would still be appropriate. Especially things like sushi or fried chicken legs.
