Up the festival road, houses dressed up in ceremony on either side, a bard rode atop his pekiki, a bull he had raised from a runt of a calf. The bull's fluff was decorated in blankets and banners, his saddle fastened with large drums, steadily beat by his masked master, who's deep call could be heard across the countryside, bringing a rythmn to the night. Even his bull would, at times, be unable to keep from dancing along with it.
