It feels like a 'favours' pyramid scheme: help Eeilish get her songs back in exchange for getting with the truck driver in exchange of bringing the house to the Crabapples' property, that let him put it there and attract Sunshine and Rolex in exchange for their son to have a job at Nevermore.
I've been chewing on this a little bit.
Ima's goal is to drive the pair apart, get revenge (seemingly) on a guy who (seemingly) melted her face (and a lot of other things, jesus how did she survive that at all?) but I dont think the purpose here is to just live happily ever after with Rolex.
Given what we saw in the last 2 panels and Rolex's extreme concern for his son, specifically in relation to being shot (perhaps he has a reason for that SPECIFIC concern because hes a cop and/or some trauma related to it? idk) I think she has a vendetta against him. She's pushing Sunny away from him. Our main protagonist so far has been Sunny but I'm starting to think she's not our main character.
If that's the case, that's nice misdirection.
I think Rolex's story about his dad is going to be very relevant before this is over.
