The mask did a well job as it finally unhinged to form my new pair of jaws, the armor crackling its final pieces into place as the wings of a beast spurred from my back. Ancient knowledge that was clearly pried from my own mind, both from the conscious and subconscious, swooned around my head. It's magic had twined with that knowledge to empower me as the beast I had sought to become, though of course it was within limitations to prevent any significant issues from arising on my spree of power and trickery. This was no mere costume -- this was a new body, a new power that would show me what it meant to be a king of the depths and cast fire as if it were a whip. Worth every penny paid to the shopkeep.
