Saw some tutorials about how to create this aesthetic and decided to give it another shot. It feels a little closer to looking like a screenshot, though I probably need to dull down the colours a bit if I want to capture the 80s/90s anime vibe. I did learn a lot about cell shading from this though, namely about having the shadows as one continuous shape instead of breaking it up into lines.

Anyway, consider this my Halloween upload. Stay safe out there! Don't end up in a haunted VHS tape or anything.
