Little commentary/opinion:
As big corporations love to do, they give crumbs of their profits to the people working for them. It's not about supporting content creators but to keep profits high. Google and the other companies make billions every year, the executives want to keep making lots of money.

It's just that it's gotten to be way too many, they've gotten really aggressive especially when it's a popular channel. If it was just one or two, fine but it gets constant. But I agree, if these ads are so helpful to content creators, how come content creators are already forced to promote so many ads on their own time? Because they get a pittance compared to what the company gets out of the ads.
You know...I would say that I use Ad Blocker to keep myself safe from shady Links, Copyrighted or Greedy App ads, and Bots. Not to mention that google, who of course bought Youtube, uses data on our videos, searches, and such to be bought of and have third parties target their ads at us.
Now?...Youtube apparently hates any and all respected privacy, whither watching a simple video, or being safe on web searching...
This era just turning corporate...This year sucked hard, and I worry for the next...

Yes that's one very good benefit of using adBlockers. I wouldn't care about ads if they were skippeable like they were years ago, or if the subscription fee was something reasonible and not a ripoff. I'm sure they could just ask for 1$ a month and probably most if not everybody would sign for it.
Or maybe give ads credits, like they make you watch 15 minutes of ads and then you have 15 videos ad-free or something like that. I think it's too obvious they just want more money...

It's always the money here, or just desperate, or hell...both. would it kill them if we all ask for safe and sensible quality control on their advertising? 5 to 8 second skipable ads on PC. I had to use my tablet or phone to not be bothered with this.
But when their "Livelyhoods" are on the line, they never cared nor bothered to care at all. It's either free videos and harmful ads, or ad-blockers for safety and be criminals on their sites. Never in between. I would be called a fiend, but I'm better off as a safe, and sensible one, then be some dumb consumer for their (and I am to be honest when I say this) shitty, creatively bankrupt, and corporate YT Premium subscription.
So...F them. I'm pro Ad-Blocker. I still watch vids on my phone/tablet, but I know for sure that content creators are not given fair treatment and they deserve better then how YT treats everyone now a days!

I only wish their corporate greed would calm down. I think the only way a platform like YT can die is if they force people to pay a subscription, and that's the path they are slowly taking. Once they do that people will simply move to any other platform that is free to use. Probably TikTok for videos and Twitch for streaming
