ABILITIES: During extreme hunger or stress, Banteris becomes The Murder, a giant anthropomorphic visage of death. The Murder looks like a giant otherworldly crow, which will use his newfound strength, agility, and carnivorous appetite to effectively overpower any adversary he would encounter, friend or foe. The Murder only sees food. It only knows hunger and death.

MOTIVES IN INK: The mask on his face is permanently attached, he cannot take it off, and no methods of trying to take it off have succeeded. The mask is cursed, and turns Banteris into a giant hulking crow named appropriately The Murder. The beast arises when hungry (Banteris cannot eat with the mask on, but when he's The Murder, he can) , or in times of extreme stress, which Banteris is prone to. The Murder is like a separate entity, but at the same time, it is also Banteris. Banteris is horrified of what he's become, and since he cannot find a way to remove the mask, he joins INK in hopes to remove the memories of his past life, to effectively become The Murder, so he wont feel anymore guilt with the new life the mask has forced upon him.
