Art for  kiki-uma's relief fundraiser. I decided to do something that would be a good general message with a furred character. I have been blown away by the resilience of the Japanese people in the face of disaster after disaster so recently, and I wanted my piece to reflect that. I wanted to make the charm on the Maneki Neko's color red for the rising sun on the Japanese flag, but the artwork for the fundraiser won't be in color. I had also debated having the bandage bleeding, but that seemed kind of tasteless.

I have not had money to donate to relief funds, so this is the very least I can do to help pitch in.
