After a particular childhood incident, Rahtinah traveled alone until she was found by an avian Yondard. He would be her mentor for some time, even teaching her how to fight. However, the two parted ways on seemingly unfavorable terms not too long before she met Taiga.

It would be during her travels with Taiga that Rahtinah would meet with her mentor again. At this point, she doesn't yet know his involvement with Taiga's current situation pertaining to the takeover of his kingdom.
