Art Fight - The Legend
On one of the walls of the illustrious Wonderbolt Academy hangs a portrait of the bust a young mare with lavender fur and blond mane. A stylish but functional navy jacket and yellow googles make it clear that she was a flyer. But what draws your eyes were her blue eyes. They almost shimmered in the picture with a mix of confidence bordering on cockiness and shear determination.
A name plaque hangs below the image. "Thunderbird." With a sharp intake of breath, you realize who the mare was. She was Thunderbird, an amazing flyer. Legend said she was born with four wings and created the first ever thunderclap. She was practically known as the grandmother of the Wonderbolts.
You'll called by your friends to return to training. But you can't help but give one last look at the mare, stare deep into those sapphire eyes, and promise that you'll be the next legend from the academy.

I think I had about as much fun writing up the lil' snippet of story as I did drawing this out. Also need to draw MLP more. Drawing them in my style while looking like MLP characters is an interesting challenge.
