This is my puppy Andy... This may turn out to be the cover of the book I am going to write about him. Andy was found, abandoned in a box at the dump. However, in this picture he looks about 6 weeks possibly... The sad truth is... He was barely 2 weeks old, didn't have his eyes open, and was so weak from being out there under the blazing sun for about 4 days. He was surrounded by his dead siblings who all perished because of extreme heat, and lack of mother's milk. :( We weren't there in time to save the others, but Andy was rescued and survived... Barely... I have videos of him on YouTube if anybody wants to watch them.

Well... We were hauling trash to the dump and heard this crying nearby. It was SO sad so we went to see what it was. Poor lil guy... If he hadn't cried loud enough we wouldn't have found him. As soon as we picked him up he fell limp and silent. ;_; We actually didn't think he was going to make it. We were going to take him to the vet to get put to sleep humanely but it was Saturday and they were closed... So we decided to let him die in comfort. So we cooled him down and fed him. Soon... he perked up! :3 and survived the weekend... then the week... Then a month... And now the lil tyke is 10 months old and still strong!
What else could we do? :( We couldnt very well bring them home to bury... We had little kids! >_> besides... There are tons of dead animals out there :( its a sad sight to see so many cats, dogs, horses, and cows laying around out there. ;_; Thats why I hate going to the Dump. That and... we find animals that were tortured. Like one time they found a puppy (still alive) that had been shot through the heart and they had to take it in to put it to sleep. :< Sooooooo sad out there its a giant animal graveyard with... Trash 9_9 and >_> old household appliances.
