We've all had birthdays that have been good and some that have not been so good.
For me, I've so far faced three birthdays in my life that I can remember off the top of my head that have not been so good to me.
I'll be going through these in a random order of what I can consider from which is worse and let you decide what you think is the worst.
Starting of- My 13th birthday: If I'm meticulously honest, I brought that one on myself. I was feeling pretty excited about becoming a teen that I woke up at a quarter past one in the morning and wouldn't go back to bed at all. Because of this, I wound up spending my entire birthday, not just enjoying the new stuff I got, but spending most of my time struggling to stay awake. Talk about a sleepy birthday, right? Good thing it was a Saturday.
Next- My 18th Birthday: This one was good for the times I was at home, but it all went bad when I was at my Post 16school/sixth form.
I got separated from my group and got in stressful trouble over it, then I got hit in the back of the head with a goddamn, misfired football during breaktime and I was extremely late coming home due to road construction outside the building. By the time I finally got home, I was in a terrible mood, I can't even remember what made it better if I'm honest.
Think that was an atrocity, you might argue that this incident is the true worst: My first birthday: Now, how bad could this be? Well, I was fed a satsuma/orange slice and had a nasty reaction to it that actually left me in the hospital. That was when it was considered that I have an allergy to oranges/satsumas, but because of what happened, my parents can't take any chances when it comes to orange fruits, or orange juices. Orange flavour candy and orange Fanta are fine, but when it comes to Oranges, or satsumas, just no.
Even though it's possible that people can grow out of allergies, I have always refused any oranges, or tangerines, or satsumas being offered to me.
You'll never know if you're safe from possible allergies or not.
