A few days late, my apologies. This Halloween was kind of a bust. Poor weather both the day I went to the pumpkin patch, and the night of Halloween, coupled with emergency plumbing issues, and intense stress and frustration with my job, didn't really leave me in much of the Halloween spirit.

Despite it being my favorite holiday by a large margin, I ended up staying home this year. Trick-or-treaters do not come to my apartment complex, so my Halloween just consisted of carving this pumpkin while watching "Ghostbusters Afterlife" and "The Halloween Tree".

My intent was to create a jack-o-lantern where the eyes were concave, with just the pupils fully cut out to give the eyes a, sunken in, glowing effect, but I couldn't settle on facial features to go with it.

I kinda did it halfway with this carving, but left the irises solid for a little extra detail in the design (thus canceling the intended effect). Maybe next year.
