A fetish is a small ritual figure. They go way back. I take inspiration from ancient Mesopotamia for Scen's where (I think) small figures of gods were kept in temples and ceremonially dressed and clothed daily. I think. it's been a while since I read about this, haha

I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. Ever since I saw Scen, his expressions reminded me of something and I've only just put it together: some of his faces are reminiscent of Ratigan from Great Mouse Detective LMAO
