Cosmo's new friend, a Crocodile Wyvern hybrid had found her in the middle of the night, the moon waxing away and the soft shades around. Without a tangible word, they realized the bond they had with each other. She had held his snout to her face and embraced him, and he motioned for her to get on his back. Off they flew. Over the villages with campfires, castles with their lanterns, across dimly lit forests and pale deserts. Til they were over the ocean. His flight was strong, his wings commanded the air with each flap and it seemed like clouds bowed to his presence as if subjects in a royal court. He was strong. She rubbed his neck as they flew over the ocean, the deep dark oceans reflected the moon and stars and the very glow of her new friend. She felt a name would be appropriate, she called him Arcturus. The bond strengthened between them at that moment, she could hear his mind and him hers. They felt closer as if they are extensions of each other. Through this bond he cannot only fly across the skies for many miles, he can fly in space, his wings allow him to propel through the airless void. As friends and companions forever!
