The abundance of water and humus drove almost all the inhabitants out of here, but became an ideal habitat for vegetables and fruits.
But most of all Tilo loved pumpkins. Over the years of gardening, he selected the best varieties that can grow to insane sizes.
From a soccer ball to a gazelle or a small house.
This orange riot eventually began to attract other rats.
Relatives, friends, neighbors - everyone rushed to the harvest at the beginning of autumn.
They sold a lot and took some for winter supplies.
But the best moment came at the end of October.
The largest pumpkin became a small cafe for just a couple of days.
Tables, chairs, decorations, food - orange barrels were used everywhere.
It was a fairytale moment in the middle of a sunken area. The whole town flocked here on boats.
Just to be in time.
Just to touch this whirlpool of pumpkins, garlands, decorations and falling leaves."
