Which one's your favourite?
Linear morph is good at showing detailed process but is overall boring and casual. Usually animators choose this approach.
Dynamic morph is where animator's wildest creativity sets in to strike at full force. You can have pulsing morph, inflated morph, twisted morph etc. Dynamic morphs rely heavily on smears to deliver a transition, thus weakening level of detail. Also its impossible to pull off a dynamic morph using automated vector tools such as tweening, leaving you with drawing frames as they should be - by hand. One by one.
Poof is a cardinal sin and will not be talked about good bye.
