Shima Original upload >>Today marks the end of the spooky season and that always brings sadness to my heart. I learned to read through ghost stories (actually!) and have always been very curious and fond of the dark, the spooky, the occult and the dangerous. In my adult life that has come to fruition as me being a witch (wicca/pagan/druid). So when October comes around I harvest the last herbs and medicines from my garden, wash them and hang them to dry. It all culminates with the Ritual of Samhain, the pagan original to Halloween which is one of the most important celebrations of the year for me. I usually let the decor sit for a few days longer, as the season where I live ends with "All Saint's Day" on the first Saturday of November.
So what suits more than to celebrate the end of this holiday with a pic of my true witchy self, making my strange concoctions and casting my spells, surrounded by my herbs? This is a very lovely raffle prize I won from
