This is Irawo! My other active Pathfinder character at the moment, they're a witch kholo witch steadily making their way through the story of Strength of Thousands. They have no grasp of social cues and have a habit of accidentally spooking people because they don't redirect them to say hello from directly over their shoulder. Should you find yourself in a fight and in peril of death or dismemberment, however, they are at your side to treat your wounds and keep you protected with their abjuration magics.
I imagine that they were marked by their patron since their birth under a night when the stars hid in the sky, when their familiar Ayanmo came to them. Misfortune seemed to surround them wherever they went, causing their clan to send them forth to learn of the world. Their luck fared little better as their first three cohorts at the Magaambya perished in increasingly gruesome circumstances, leaving them the sole survivor of each. So they came to their current party, armed at last with a means of nudging one's fate down different paths after bargaining with the stars, and their prayer is that these students will finally survive their presence.
Once again, I had a good chunk of help with the colors and general how-to of drawing the bird (a bearded vulture!) from Amyrlin <3 And I straight up traced the arm holding Irawo's staff from this sketch Marc Knelsen did. Not something that feels good to admit per se, but the dude himself found my admission on a WIP tweet I sent out and liked it. I'm just going to hope that clearly crediting the source of my trace and having no intention to sell this drawing will suffice.

My kholo is a twisting tree magus named Stalwart Banana. Yes, everyone asks him "you mean the yellow fruit"? He's the first one from his tribe to use a spellbook, he's super-leery of anything Chelish (like his kineticist classmate), he loves woodworking, has a crush on Anchor Root, and adopted a pugwampi as his familiar after finding a way to supress his unluck aura. Though Trouble still does live up to his name.
That's so good! I belatedly realized I absolutely did NOT give Irawo a lore-compliant name when I made them and their familiar, so I'm explaining their full name as kholo for "Ivy Under Starlight" (and "Star"). :D
Irawo is intensely awkward around Anchor Root. They're actually friends. No, they don't know what that means.
