I was playing around with the head size on this fellow, and ended up doing this as a test image. I really like the pose, though, as it is a pose no human could do. It's not just a snake creature in a human posture from the waist up.
As for the model: Started with Daz's Genesis 9, then used RawArt's snake tail, but the head is pretty much entirely resculpted as a custom morph. Texture is my own, though I do use mostof the stock normals to keep the "feel" of the texture. So a bit of my own work, a bit of commercial models in this.

Yeah, I think (despite just uploading a couple "standing up" ones) I'm going to play around with more snake-like poses.
I feel like the snake-folk would use that "standing up" pose when they are working with humans and want to seem more "approachable" and similar. But among themselves, it'd be very different poses.
