Several months ago, i was fortunate enough to stumble upon Zero-coloured fur. at which point, i knew i needed to make a Zero-plush again.
i'd seen several plushies made using the Northsound Plushie Pattern (http://www.matrices.net/NorthSound/) and decided i liked the look of them.
but... being rather prideful and arrogant, i decided to make my own pattern by using the different finished products as references for shapes i liked and did not.
and after months of working (usually in the evenings after work-work), between catching all manner of diseases, i've finally finished.
she stands at 3 feet tall, and weighs a good 5 pounds (maybe a little more), but the only weight in her is inside her tail-spade.
i experimented with a lot of things here, which i'll be able to utilize in later plushies. everything from enlarging joints while still using 30mm pegs (using metal washers from the hardware store), to using model-magic and nail polish glued to a plastic safety eye for her nose (glue the nose on -after- the safety eye is in), to sculpting larger eyes out of fimo and glazing them and attaching them over plastic safety eyes (can be glued on at any time), to less stuffing in the tail for more flexibility, paw embroidery, less thread-face-sculpting and more pattern based curves, neck joints, dying, brushing out yarn and using it for arm and ankle fluff.
there were a lot of successful experiments, but there were also a lot of second-tries. Her hand-paws, for example, were too small to start with, and the pleather paw-pads kept stretching as i embroidered, making it a complete mess. after screwing that up, i used the rest of the arm to experiment with fluff-placement and elbow blade placement.
her paws also have magnets in them, so she can hold things.
as well as her wings. which are magnetic. there are two more magnets in her back that they can attach to, and be removed from.
the wings were another successful (if frustrating) experiment. they're made from three different kinds of faux fur, each with increasing lengths, making them more wing-like. the minky has also been sewn down and stuffed inside, giving them a more ridged look and feel.
all in all, i'm very pleased with how she turned out. i'm going to have a ton of fun taking pictures of her and dragging her along to events with me. like furry rollerblading, for instance, which she attended this evening. she was stolen several times and mauled to death. :3

thanks!
uh... i think?
i'm not going to be taking commissions anymore, i don't think. i just don't have the time or energy. i'll finish what's been paid for already, but that's it. far in the future, i may decide to open commissions again, but it'll be a 'one slot' deal/auction style.
(a plush of this size and detail, though, would be in the vicinity of $300+)
