Like, what is the Dead Zone and why it is called that (the name is a strong indicator, but you can never tell)? What are the Cults of the Gardens? Or the Six Crowns of Chaltlaoxtoc?

I realize some or all of those probably have been answered already. I am curious but unfortunately not very observant :)

These are among the final glory days of a dying world, methinks. For one reason or another, entropy is claiming this place. It may take thousands of years, yet. But this is closer to the end than anyone on this world would wish to imagine. I just get this feeling from the way the Cults and the Dead Zone get the same patterning. And given the glimpse of Septieme Maison with the Skin Monk... I don't think the Corruptive Purple Stuff™ is content to remain within these borders.
