Tech guy is pretty much the only human left that wants to be around him. he's not happy around a big bully like Monty. but he needs to pay the bills, and it was him who installed him with the upgrades. Monty's still a jerk, but we can see he doesn't like to think himself of someone who's in need of being "fixed". it can only go so far before even Monty must admit that him getting physically bigger doesn't mean he'll become more popular if he keeps acting like this.

Kids these days. When I was little, a giant gator like that who can get even bigger would have been the most popular attraction, especially if we could have seen him break stuff. What kid doesn't like big monster guy destroying stuff? It's what made the Power Rangers and Godzilla popular in the first place.
