This is Luke, and he is a writer. I met him on St. Patrick's Day in downtown Cleveland, while I was sitting on a curb being a creepy photographer and taking rather hilarious candids of drunk people. Luke was tripping on Acid and Methadone, and found me an interesting person to talk to.

I really enjoyed meeting him and talking to him. Even though the drugs were wearing off, he was still an interesting person to talk to. He thinks about suicide constantly, because the world is in such a bad place, and we all hate each other. He was very self-conscious about a tic (possibly caused by the drug use) that caused him to do a flapping twist of his hands every once in a while, and he delighted in giving passerby the peace sign - even though he was sad because people probably didn't really understand it. I think my favorite thing about him was that he understood why I like taking pictures without even telling him about it. It's for the same reason that he writes - because he wants to make something beautiful to share with everyone.

I'd like to hang out with Luke again in the future, and I really do hope that he doesn't kill himself.
