Animated version of 4 characters from my first personal OCs concept sheet which can be seen here as well as all the backstory in the description: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54370401/
It was a random idea to try practice some simple pixel animation with jiggly movement which was a popular technique in 80-90s, it's easy to make, just make a copy of a layer, alternate and angle of every line with some shift, three layers like that and voila, it already looks pretty alive and expressive. No wonder it was popular few decades ago in an era when animation was moving towards being more limted and simplified and it needed simple but vivid techniques.
I did 4 of my favorite characters out of initial 6 from the initial concept sheet, the rest two guys a good but not enough to develop them further, so I stuck with Zed Vector, Kit Nightly, Jack Tallhead and Mark Spothound.

Lol, now it makes sense XD Yeah, two friends of mine thought about Moxy too and I have to say I think about him myself too, there's definitely a resemblance with these big noses, tall heads and simple shapes, such characters were a product of their time, we can easily remember Duckman, Rocko's Moder Life characters, bird and cat from The Dirdy Birdy and so on. And I simply can't stand my own obsession over everything big and long haha.
These go so beautifully hard. You can just feel the toony energy emanating from them. You will blink and turn around half a second and they will subject you to endless zany shenanigans.
Nothing short of appealing! Out of the two guys that didn't make it here, I gotta say the pink-haired gentleman also caught my eye. Love them all though!

Thank you for your sweet words! <3 Yeah, as a toon artist I care a lot about emotions and feelings and I want them as exaggerated and open as possible so you can feel them, that's what I wanted to emphasize with these characters.
And my friend loved pink haired guy as well, maybe one day I'll give him some extra attention!
