Bellerine - referred to as Sister Chastity - is a high priestess of the Church of the New Mother, a church dedicated to worshiping Xiomara. She represents Chastity - one of the key aspects of Xiomara.

As Sister Chastity - on the outside, she is a very innocent and kind individual who welcomes all with open arms. She is extremely approachable and makes all who visit the Church feel welcome, offering care to those suffering from terrible addictions and desires. She is known to be within the confessional to listen to the regrets and sins of those visiting, offering comfort and methods to overcome their desires. Bellerine's true side however is the essence of Lust, her secret personality being that of an obsessive and maniacal individual who will go to great lengths to obtain what she wants. Although on the outside she is meant to help others overcome vices, she will slip in phrases and hints to cause one to indulge on their perverted desires - or if she senses how strong their temptations are, she will offer them opportunities to 'indulge' further. Her obsessive lust can reach extreme levels, causing her to become animalistic and will tear apart anything that gets in the way of sensation she craves - be obtained through sexual acts or brutal bloodshed.

Bellerine actively refrains from fighting whenever possible due to her bloodlust easily overtaking her, her demonic essence makes her extremely maniacal and unpredictable. She infuses her demonic essence into her limbs to further enhance her natural strength, often allowing them to take the shape of vicious claws in order to make it even more efficient to tear apart her victims and shed as much blood as possible. The messier the kill, the more satisfied she becomes.

Note: Mother Humility often keeps frequent tabs on her due to how easily she will succumb to her desires, thus why Sabricia often describes her as a 'Ravenous pet kept on a tight chain'.
