Original title is frighteningly original. Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument taken from across the Potomac River.

What I did: basic raw tweaks only.

Washout is where the light areas lose detail in attempt to average the entire image to 66% "grey" in a dusk shot due to the lack of dynamic range.

Oh, thats just a matter of proper exposure then. With cameras now, you pretty well have to try and mess exposure up =D

I find my "smart" digital useless other than for Ebay.... give me a Nikon FM2 or Asahi Pentax SV anyday
