Dawn finally did it.
With the eight badges, the short-haired gal finally could face the Elite Four and Cynthia, the champion of the region. The blonde-haired woman followed the trainer from time to time and even got some information about her to know about her battling style, but there was something that she couldn’t understand. When she talked with the male Gym Leaders, they mentioned some of the Pokémon and tactics she used, but when she talked with the female Gym Leaders, she was shocked to discover they couldn’t remember how she defeated them.
If it was only one like Candice, who was one of the last Gym Leaders, Cynthia would have ignored that, but even Gardenia and Maylene couldn’t remember. However, one thing that caught her attention was that the short-haired gal decided to have a rematch with them even though she already got the badge. While the blonde-haired woman considered that a strange thing to do, she assumed it was related to Dawn wanting to train her Team and went for a rematch to see what she did wrong. Just as she continued thinking about the strategies of the trainer, Dawn came into the room.
“Good to see you again, Dawn. I was just thinking about our last encounter,” Cynthia said while smiling. Seeing the short-haired gal was supposed to be a good moment as it was finally the time the two could have a match, but looking at the trainer, the blonde-haired gal felt that something was off, noticing a certain glazing in her eyes. Thinking that it was related to her desire to win, Cynthia decided to ignore it while continuing with her presentation. “I hope you are ready for our combat. While we have helped each other in this adventure, I have to tell you that my team and I will do our best to defeat you.”
Dawn smiled before pulling out the poke ball that contained not only her ace, but also the one who was in control: the Naga Lucario. The champion was puzzled to see the creature and before she could even call her own ace, Dawn’s Pokémon quickly coiled her. The first instinct of Cynthia was to call for help, but each time she attempted doing that, the Naga Lucario would tighten his coils. As the champion continued to try to find a way out, the Pokémon looked back at Dawn, waiting for the signal to go forward with the plan. After she nodded her head, the Naga Lucario laughed before putting himself in front of Cynthia.
“Hello there, Cynthia, I’ve heard a lot of things about you, with the main one being how you are the strongest trainer in Sinnoh,” the blonde-haired gal gasped upon discovering that the Pokémon could talk. She wondered if she could try to resonate with him, but what she didn’t know was that the Lucario and the trainer already knew what to do with her. “For what I know, your job is very complicated. Something tells me you are tired. So, why don’t you look into my eyes and let us help you with your problem.”
The Naga Lucario blinked once and his eyes changed into spirals. As her gaze locked itself into the hypnotic eyes of the Pokémon, Cynthia deduced what happened with the female Gym Leaders: The Lucario hypnotized them. Everything started to make sense, from why they couldn’t remember to why Dawn looked like that. Sadly, it was too late for her to do anything as the moment the Pokémon activated his hypnotic abilities, it was a matter of time before she submitted.
“I know, I know. Being trapped in my coils and looking into my eyes look like a bad thing, but I assure you, this is a nice thing. I know it, Dawn knows it and soon you’ll know it,” the hypnotic Pokémon said while smiling. By the moment he saw Cynthia, he knew that the champion would be more resistant than Dawn or the other female trainers he encountered. For him, not only that wasn’t a problem, but also made the whole thing more enjoyable. “You have a good life, but I can make it better. There will be nothing to fear or to worry about. Doesn’t that sound good to you?”
It was just a simple idea that the hypnotic Pokémon was saying and it had an impact on the champion. He wasn’t wrong, because of her job as the champion of the region, Cynthia was always busy and there were times where she hoped to have some time off to rest and relax. She continued to fight against the ideas and tried to look away from the hypnotic eyes of the Pokémon, but it was more than obvious that the champion wouldn’t win against him.
“My trainer and I came here to give you something special, that thing you always wanted. I know it might sound strange coming from me, but I have to tell you, you’ll be fine,” the Naga Lucario said while moving closer to Cynthia so she could take a closer look at his eyes. His action took a toll on the champion as she finally stopped trying to get out of the coils and even leaned closer to look at the spirals.
While he did that, the Naga Lucario gave Dawn the signal to come closer. The trainer understood what he meant as she pulled out a decorative bottle that had multiple-colored gems from her backpack. They found it after having the rematch with Maylene and the Naga Lucario commanded her to keep it as he also had another ability: he could turn anyone into a genie. While he rarely ever used that power, preferring to go for the usual coiling and hypnosis, as he wanted to try something different, and seeing that the champion had a nice-looking body, the Lucario thought that it would give Cynthia a nice change, turning her into a happy and loyal genie.
“We have something for you, something special. Sadly, we can only show it to you if you say you want it,” the Naga Lucario said, putting Cynthia on edge as he knew that would make her crave for more. Just one mention of the idea was enough to make her eager to know what it was, already coming to terms that she would do anything the hypnotic Pokémon would command as long as she could continue to feel like this.
Cynthia wasted no time and nodded her head, that being more than enough for the hypnotic to go with the next part of his plan. As he took the top of top of the bottle, blue smoke came out of it, quickly covering Cynthia and the coils. The process was far from a painful one, the blonde-haired gal went deeper into trance while the changes around her body made her giggle.
Her legs quickly fused together and turned themselves into a black genie tail while her outfit was torn off and replaced by a revealing top of the same color of her tail. She also got jewelry, golden cuffs and a blue belly gem. The final change was around her eyes, which were quickly covered with black and blue spirals, all while the ideas about being a servant and obeying her master quickly invaded her mind. At that moment, what used to be the woman who was the champion became nothing more than a shadow of her former self.
Once the smoke dispersed, the Naga Lucario noticed that Cynthia wasn’t in his coils and that the bottle changed into the same black shade of Cynthia’s dress. The Pokémon laughed before commanding Dawn to rub the bottle, expecting to see her in her new form. It was just like he expected it as black smoke came out of it and soon the blonde-haired genie made her entrance.
“Greetings, master! I’m Cynthia, the genie of the bottle and former champion!” Cynthia said while smiling. The Naga Lucario couldn’t hide his happiness and as Cynthia became the cheerful and loyal genie he imagined. Of course, this was more of a reward for his trainer, but he was still going to use it in his favor. As the djinnication, and battle, came to an end, the Pokémon looked at the genie and told her to give Dawn the title. “As you defeated me, I should grant you the title of Champion of the region. Not only that, but you also got me to be your eternal servant. Command me and I should obey.”
The trainer smiled before following the genie into the champion room, where her team would be registered. Of course, to keep it as a secret, the Naga Lucario made her put all the members of her team while also adding that he was a normal Lucario instead of an hypnotic and magical Naga. Once again, the hypnotic Pokémon took control of someone, that being Cynthia, the most powerful trainer in Sinnoh, while it was a mystery what was going to happen next, with a trainer under his control and a genie that would grant any wish, it was more than obvious that no one would stop him.
In the end, the Lucario got more than he expected and was craving for more.
