I don't know much about GIMP, but I am an avid Photoshop user. Care for a late night crash course? My ISP has some freaky rules that will not allow me to stream until after 2 am Eastern time.

It's all easy once you learn how to make the program work for you. I've already learned how to eliminate those annoying white spots in GIMP. The technique works just as well as it does in Photoshop too.
I'll start working on a mini tutorial tonight and have it for you to try out shortly.
