When I woke up yesterday after a long, rainy, stormy night, I looked out and saw a rainbow across the water that seemed to land somewhere in East Green Harbour, not far away from Crossfolf Corner.
So, I successfully swam to the Green Harbour shore ( these Nova Scotia seals and otters are VERY territorial ) and then hiked through the thick evergreen forest ( these Nova Scotia foxes, crows, bears and bees are VERY territorial ) to where the rainbow ended.
As it happened, the rainbow ended in my friend Eddie's back yard, so he'd already gotten the gold. Damn!!
At least Eddie invited me to stay for supper, and on the long walk back to Crossfolf Corner I found a dime, a rubber band, an old, rusty railspike and a pine cone. It was still a worthwhile expedition and a nice day for an adventure!
Another silly Crossfolf Camera Presentation.
