Most recent cameras and phones always save JPEG files in the same orientation, with a few bits set in the header of the file to record which way was "up" when the photo was taken. The display software on a phone, PC, or website is expected to read those bits and rotate the photo, if needed, before displaying it. Unfortunately, FA doesn't do this, as you just discovered. :)

The fix is to use software on your phone or PC to rotate the photo, *save a rotated copy*, and then upload that rotated copy to FA.
