Just another late-night doodle, this time more art of Alaedda.
Alaedda Galondel, my first serious D&D character and one of my oldest characters that I still actually use/draw. She's a Moon Elf, and much more than that, but she was created in an effort to see just how much I could get away with when the DM (my boyfriend at the time) told us "Anything goes." Turns out he was serious, so I got to keep my ridiculously overpowered Moon Elf half-vampire rogue/shadowdancer. I toned her down quite a bit before we actually started playing, but I laughed forever that he was actually okay with it. XD
The shadow arms came long after I stopped playing D&D. Long story short, she got caught stealing from the wrong person. He lopped off her arms in a prolonged torture session, and left her for dead, not knowing that she had somewhat accelerated healing abilities. She still wandered around armless for a while, but as a shadowdancer she had become attuned to the living energy of the shadow realm, and the shadows she so adored decided to lend her a bit of help. She usually keeps her arms covered so as not to draw unwanted attention, though in bright lighting (which she usually avoids due to her heritage) she can, with intense concentration, render the arms invisible. She hasn't had them very long and is still learning to use them and live with them.
TL;DR - EAT SOME DICKS
