Gift TF I wrote for   hanto161 , since they inadvertently helped me get back into the swing of things. Card Monster TFs are always very fun. Would always be willing to add some more to my deck~

Hanto and a friend were chatting in private, sharing drinks and snacks as they discussed their day, as well as different subjects and interests that they’d been getting involved in recently. At some point, the topic turned to card games

“You know,” their friend said as they crossed their legs on the couch, stretching their body, “I actually had a dream last night that’s of relevance. It was your classic ‘card game world’, but you need to catch the monsters yourself Pokemon style. Weak Monsters can just be caught normally, but for stronger or unique monsters, you’ll need to weaken them first, either through damage,or some sort of restraining effect. Spells and traps are also born from the monsters you've caught, either changing existing cards, or creating new cards as the monsters get stronger. That's why in all those different shows, so many duelists have perfect archetypal decks, and seem to just gain new, better cards for their archetype out of nowhere in-between duels.”

“Ooooooooo~. That sounds like fun!” Hanto exclaimed, as their friend gave a sly grin

“Yeah! It kinda worked like… this!”

They'd hold up a blank card in front of Hanto as it suddenly began to shine brightly! The light from the card would wash over Hanto's form, illuminating their body in a soft glow as a crystal formed in the center of their chest, magenta coloured metal forming around it.

The glow from their body grew brighter, eclipsing the light from the card as further changes began, spreading out from the crystal, grey fur giving way to cyan colored energy as the changes consumed their torso, then their arms and legs, and then even their head and tail! Their form seemed to lose definition, having become made of pure light and energy, as paws became simple rounded stubs, and their tail just a pointed blob. More armor would form, starting with two purple shoulderguards and leg greaves, Hanto's form seeming to resonate with the armor as their arms regained some definition, smaller with tiny points for claws, while their legs definitely lost some mass, becoming the same length as their arms, reforming into a digitigrade stance with more of those tiny triangular claws decorating their ends.

More Purplish armor would manifest across their back, forming an interlocking set of plates as they sculpted Hantos form into a longer, more lithe shape, the excess mass suddenly bursting out behind them from two vents, from where more armor would suddenly latch on to form a set of glowing wings, the occasional arc of photons across it's surface leaving streaks of white across the glowing shades of cyan.

Hanto's tail had continued to grow while their body was shrunk and reshapened, a large, almost bushy looking mass of wispy photons and energy. But that would soon change as a magenta trident formed on it's tip, decorated with yet another glistening crystal, as their tail was suddenly stretched out longer and thinner, no longer recognizable as the canine one they had started with, now much more reptilian looking.

A magenta and purple helmet would finally form atop Hanto's head, another triangular gem embedded in its surface, as their photon body stretched to fill the new confines, forming the vague shape of a dragon, though softer, more chibified, their new snout only containing two tiny fangs that poked over their lip when their mouth was closed. Like that of a young juvenile whelp. Their eyes reappeared, now a deep vibrant blue, sparkling with the infinite possibilities of space itself.

The Card's glow would fade, revealing a image on its surface, as text suddenly formed into being, displaying a familiar looking dragon and name, ‘Galaxy Eyes Cloud Dragon’. A Dragon Hanto had not so subtly been wishing they were for quite a while~. Looks like that wish had now been granted!
