This is a background from the Tundra story. The most interesting part about creating characters to me is figuringo ut the details aornd them, what kind of music would they listen to, what would they eat? what would the childhood room of a kid growing up to be a modern day shaman look like?
Here we have a Dreamcatcher, a bit of cultural apropiation on Tundras part, an also a decorative detail I really enjoy, a poster from Dead can Dance, an Ethnic Fusion/darkwave group http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJqUbb-WuPQ and Mari Boine, an artist combining traditional sami singing and shamanism with modern music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxXzcF4zMvk The book Into the wild, about a bloke who thought hiking in alaska on his own was a good idea (it wasn't), a reindeer skin and a shaman drum. The pattern on the wall is also a traditional swedish pattern, often foun carved in leather or pots and the like.

Oh my gosh, you're such a NERD. x3
I just think up my characters' usual clothing, favorite foods and recurring facial expressions... I'm not that creative when it comes to thinking up how they actually live their lives.
So Tundra's got that whole "old meets rad" thing going on? Interesting.
