Some of you might know about some of the background of the world my characters live in, mainly that some actually have super abilities which are gene-based. Sherwyn is one such character whom has super abilities, he's a speedster despite his larger frame! His abilities are very much akin to The Flashes of DC, or Quicksilver in Marvel, basically he can run at light speed if he wanted to, his reactions and mental functions are appropriately sped up to such, and can passively generate an aura which prevents anything on his person, or anyone he carries, from feeling the tremendous forces of super speed. Since it's gene-based, being a speedster is something that runs his family, all of his siblings too are stupid fast, but Sherwyn is an interesting case, for due to not inheriting quite enough of the super genes, he can't burn off most of the food he eats, which is why he's very chubby compared to his siblings.

Also, his abilities do have some other slight drawbacks though, because it's also metabolism-based. His abilities are at their strongest when he has a fully belly of food, but unfortunately when he's full, he can't quite slow down his mind and his thoughts commonly move too fast for his mouth to keep up. When his belly is empty, his thoughts are much more steady, but his speed is dampened a lot... and his belly is excessively loud. ^^;
