There seems to be a notion that because Aedaha are thin and wiry, they are necessarily also fragile, weak, or "floppy." This could not be further from the truth. The characteristic elegant appearance of Aedaha belies strong bones and powerful, lean muscle that combine with catlike reflexes to render them far more formidable than they might appear at first glance.
An average Aedaha, male and female being roughly the same height, stands at around eight to nine feet (not including ears and tail). This does vary somewhat from race to race but generally speaking, even short Aedaha, standing at around six-feet, are taller than most people they encounter. This grants them a fair height advantage and a wide strike range.
That notwithstanding, Aedaha are often seen as glass cannons since their primary strategy in a fight tends to be "don't get hit" - a tactic they excel at. With a vertical leap of fifteen feet, a horizontal leap of thirty feet, reflexes of a cat, and slender build, their evasive maneuvering makes them difficult to land a hit on. Are Aedaha known for winning knock-down drag-out brawls? Not so much. They are, however, known for ending fights decisively by launching themselves feet-first at opponents and one-shotting them. The Aedaha death-kick can be modulated so as to wind, knock out, maim, disembowel, or behead opponents. This does, though, require a moment of wind-up. Lacking such a moment, an Aedaha may instead offer a half-kick which is less likely to kill but fully capable of winding, maiming, or KOing opponents. Additionally, Aedaha possess clawed digits and strong canine jaws roughly comparable to those of a wolf.
Some races of Aedaha have a thick, long prehensile tail that is as strong as a constricting snake which can be used to detain or strangle opponents. Other races have long, thin tails that can be whirled or lashed like whips. Tails which they may also be used to bait opponents. Anyone foolish or ignorant enough to grab the bait might quickly find themselves on the receiving end of a bite, claw, or most likely, a kick.
Aedaha certainly are not indestructible and do bear a number of weak-points, not the least of which are their long necks and ears which do make for easy targets. All that aside, generally speaking, they are not known for brutality or bellicosity. Still, it would be unwise to underestimate an Aedaha.

it's funny to consider:
that, i assuredly would be failing this challenge, with a fair amount of consistency, had i encountered it in my late teens / early 20s
i know my 41-year-old brain is falling behind in other ways..
..so, i'm fairly surprised i'm doing alright with Frogè here
"most adept," even.

(zooming in, still
coming in clutch!)
Oh! I hide a frog in my paintings (the one in my avatar, his name is Derp Froge). It's something I've been doing for over a decade... https://www.furaffinity.net/view/4310469/ For some reason, people really liked that dang frog so since then, I've been hiding him in my paintings for shits n giggles.
Amazing! :D Interesting lore too, would be cool to meet one of those. (Just be careful not to make them angry, hehe).
Also, some big expensive jewellery design house out there is REALLY missing out by not having you as a designer! Seriously, your jewellery designs look epic. Some of them add that extra other-worldly look too.
Would be cool to see those turning up in actual jewellery stores. Might start a new trend :) Everyone wanting them, hehe.
Also, opal hair dye! If anyone can make that work, you can! ;)

that is a potential "alternative"

heck
you probably could make yerself a lucrative side hustle out of 𝚙𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 [Conceptual Pieces for] jewelry?
maybe?
is there a market for such artworks, bobbie-j?
🤔

(i wouldn't know
i tend to steer clear
of The Moneyed World
{considering, i don't
have any})
I actually used to be heavily into 3D printing jewelry. I was doing so through Shapeways but then they shat themselves and I haven't looked back for a while. I could get my own printer but then I'd be limited to plastics which I generally try to avoid for the sake of not contributing to the emplasticification the planet. I'd be interested in environmentally safe alternatives like paper, wood, or misc-plant material. Will such things last as long as plastic or metal? No. But at least they won't end up in a landfill or worse, some poor animal's respiratory or digestive tracts.
As for gems, I'd go with lab-grown. I'm not a snob. There's functionally no real difference between lab-grown and earth-made diamond. It's all carbon one way or the other.

^ THIS! ^ :)
Reprap or someone similar (one of those DIY open source 3D printer companies) used to work on a gadget that could melt down plastic bottles and things and extrude the plastic into reels that could then be used in the printers. So, I'd get one if I could get hold of one of those too.
But yeah, I'd want one that could do metals, but I'll never be able to afford one :(
Would be amazing if you could get into that though. I don't really wear jewellery, but I'd be tempted to collect a few anyway, they look beautiful :)

Ya know, that rings a bell. I think I remember that being a thing. Would be pretty dang cool. Maybe it would help unplastick the world in some small way.

i mean..
..at the end of the day, the real point-and-purpose of jewelry, is its æsthetics
i thought
i thought so..
..but, then, a new thought interceded:
what would happen to the [appeal] of jewelry if, suddenly, everyone could (if they wanted) bedazzle themselves, in such fineries as what you conjure up, bobbie-j?
that was the original-intended point of Bling, after all: worn, as a means of distinguishing one's self from the hoi polloi
´from the 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚛.
grrrr
why do human beings have to make Life so hard?
why must we be plagued with the 𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚟𝚒𝚛𝚞𝚜 as we are?

𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚛𝚜, 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚!!
😈
incidentally..
..there are several gems i absolutely love the looks of. . . . .
. . . . .but, i'm not sure about actually donning any of them, in public
especially-so, not, in this current social / societal climate:
a climate where,
rightly or wrongly,
those who flaunt / flex,
in front of others who patently struggle,
as a customary Way of Life,
may or may not find themselves
🆃🅰🅺🅴🅽 🅳🅾🆆🅽 🅰 🅿🅴🅶.—
—with varying degrees (and kinds) of incidental harm inflicted upon the flexor
i reckon, generally, i'm not a showy / flashy person anyway, niko
(there's that to consider)
