Many apologies if this isn't furry enough.
Ok, so my hand is obviously feeling a lot better, so I have no excuse not to finish the work that I owe people. No excuse at all. So why am I uploading this? Because I was really bored at work today, and had finished reading my book, and had no access to the artwork I'm supposed to be doing, and this Elf character just won't get out of my head! :( She's been buzzing around in my brain for years, telling me bits and pieces of her story, but refusing to get out onto the page! Finally, I think I captured her a little.
Yeah, she looks kinda human-like. She's supposed to. You see, she's kinda a spy, so if she looked too stereotypically elvish her career would be in jeopardy. She scoffs at elvish stereotypes anyway.
Usually she hides her tell-tale ears, but I managed to convince her to show a bit of one.
She spends a lot of time on the road travelling, so her outfit is pretty practical. That isn't a skirt she's wearing - it's flowy pants that look like a skirt, so prudish people won't get upset with her for wearing boy clothes. The pants are much more practical for riding, which she does a lot of. She may not look dangerous, but she has weapons and stuff hidden on her person. Obviously you can't see them, because then they wouldn't be hidden. And she won't let me tell you where they are. :P
I can't remember her name right now. I wrote it down somewhere... Oh well, I may have to come up with a new one.
I suck at drawing cloaks. I'm going to need to look at some references. Which reminds me, the only reference I used for this was my own hands, because the original ones I drew looked really stupid. I think it actually turned out ok. The pose is a bit off in places...
