It can be amazing sometimes where trouble can find you back in the prehistoric. Even in a open area filled with rocks, all you have to do is miss a jump and suddenly you're right in the middle of a tar bog, something Tara sure can confirm after having once again given us a example for why people makes jokes about her name. Save to say, half her mind is cursing out whatever comments she'll receive once she gets back to the tribe, while the other half is trying to find a way to get back to the tribe in the first place.

toughset and gave him Tara to do with as he pleased, and the result was Tara getting herself in quite the sticky predicament. I think he did a fantastic job on Tara, she looks wonderful in his style, though clearly very annoyed and putting in a lot of effort to get herself free. Her outfit very nicely captured the leather look of the main portion as well as the more wool look that the trim has. I also appreciate the more light brown colour her hair has, which is something I defiantly like on her alongside that always nicely done bone in her hair. The tarpit is also captured nicely, having a very nice and clear pit look while the tar itself is nice and bubbly, as well as clearly not letting go of Tara, as can be seen by the stretching tar on the arm she's trying to pull free, her leg that's completely covered in the stuff and even a bit of it holding onto her butt, it's all done quite nicely. The background is also handled very nicely. I love the more rocky backdrop, as well as the slight grass field behind her that the more prehistoric looking trees match really well, not to mention the very well done volcano behind her puffing out a thick cloud of smoke, which alongside the more yellowish sky, gives the whole picture a more dark ominous look. Overal, this is a great picture that I hope you all enjoy!

The struggle was real back then. Especially during Prehistoric times ;). Tara can give a lot of good evidence on that department ;). Though here's hoping she can catch a break from these perilous situations XD . But no matter what, Toughset did a very amazing job capturing Tara in this pic. Especially the tar :)
Indeed. Makes one wonder how our real-life ancestors even managed to survive up until this point (and yes, I am aware that primitive man and dinosaurs DID NOT CO-EXIST at any point in prehistory).
I can just imagine what kind of carnivorous plants are around in Tara's time. I imagine giant versions of the ones that exist in our time (Venus Flytraps, Pitcher Plants, Sundew Plants), as well as others that use such biological means to capture prey (ensnaring vines, sticky sap, pheremone-laced pollen, etc.). I even see a version of the plant that tried to trap that one cavewoman in "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" (the cavewoman backed into it, and it then tried to close around and contain her for digestion. She manages to escape by stabbing the plant with a bone knife in her hands).

Yeah, even if there weren't dinosaurs, giant monster plants or that many evil tribes, survival would no doubt have been quite the struggle, it defiantly was a thing of skill and working together that we're still here today.
Heh, yeah, most defiantly some very big Venus Flytraps around and many other types of plants looking to turn Tara into a quick bite. Yeah I've seen that scene, a pretty decent one, though with the way that scene played out I'm not sure how that would really work well without it being slightly silly they got caught.

Indeed, it was. Scary to think of our kind being prey in those early times of our evolution.
I can see it as one possible scenario (a one-time scenario, at that).
Tara is out hunting when she spots a massive T-Rex on the prowl for prey itself. Knowing she wouldn't be a match for a predator such as this on her own, Tara sees a group of structures nearby that look like an oblong bowl standing up on one side. Choosing discretion over attack, she resorts to taking cover in the largest of them (taller than her by about an inch) and hoping the beast won't detect her. After a few tense moments, the carnivorous dinosaur wanders off in another direction. Tara allows herself a chance to breath out in relief and leans back. It is only then that she realizes something is off. The texture of her hiding spot doesn't feel like stone...
Her suspicions are confirmed with the sides of the structure fold towards her to keep her within it. She tries to push her way out, but it won't yield. She then feels a tingling sensation all about her as the insides of her captor secrete a gooey substance. Her fears are fully confirmed: a flesh-eating plant!
She fights for her life, pushing, kicking, wriggling, and struggling to escape, but the plant maintains its grip on the furious cave girl. Tara then manages to grab a T-rex tooth-knife at her side, bring one of her arms out, and stabs at the plant in a desperate attempt to get herself free.
Her efforts seem to be rewarded, for its hold on her becomes weaker, and it begins to collapse. However, as she manages to get herself out from the inside of the plant, she feels a hard tug at her head. The plant seemed to have generated a sticky sap that oozed onto her hair to keep her from escaping while she was still inside it.
After a few moments, Tara hits the ground on her back, her hair still stuck to the roof of the dying flesh-eater. She then takes her knife to saw and cut at her hair. Her actions are rewarded when she finally manages to get herself away from the monstrous vegetable. Standing up and seeing the remaining predatory plants, she quickly etches a symbol her tribe uses as a warning of danger on a boulder nearby, so that none of her kith and kin fall victim to these horrid things.
Still feeling the digestive enzymes tingling on her skin, she realizes she'll have to find some water to wash it off. Before she gets too far, she bumps into something big...and scaly. It's the leg of the hunting T-Rex.
"OH, C'MON!" she shouts in her frustration as she flees for her life.

Indeed it certainly was.
Hm, well it's defiantly a pretty interesting story, though there's a bit too much going on for just a single pic, this more feels like a whole series of pics or a comic. Plus it also feels like you've more or less described the entire scenario of the movie right down to the plant holding onto her hair. Just with some additions of the T-rex.

I kind of intended that whole story as a parody of that scene from "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth". One major difference is that Tara doesn't panic like the cave woman in the movie, but fights ferociously to free herself. She also etches a symbol meaning danger to avoid these killer plants, something else the cave woman in the movie didn't do.
And yes, the addition of the T-Rex, not some monitor lizard with fake rubber fins and labeled as a "dinosaur".
This story idea could do well as a sequence of pics or a comic.

Hm, well yeah, like I said, I feel like it might work, though wouldn't really fit Tara with the whole cutting off her hair and etching a symbol on it, it just seems odd.
And yeah, that much I get.
Well yeah, it would need that many pic, and I simply do not have the desire to make a full set of pics for this.

Maybe she had longer hair, and after that, decided to keep her hair short. Also (for the etching a warning), I would think that she wouldn't want anyone of her tribe to undergo what she just did. This last one could be kept out, if that's okay.
Maybe it could be done in five?
1. Tara dodges the T-Rex by ducking into the plant.
2. Tara gets trapped by the plant and struggles to escape it
3. Tara stabs the plant with a freed arm.
4. Tara's on the ground, forced to cut her (at the time, longer) hair to finally free herself from the dying predatory plant
5. Walks away...only to bump into the leg of the T-Rex.
