After Alice had a most interesting adventure with fellow stretchy shark Jann Lastid aka Snapback left them in ribbons (literally):

The two were rescued by their teammates and the separation process didn't take long...save for one small sliver of a ribbon that, for some reason, would not rejoin the two sharks the bore it in the first place...almost like it REFUSED! Neither shark thought too much into it...that is until a teammate of Alice, Checkmate, who also was a telepath, insisted on placing the ribbon in a incubation like chamber when asked "why?" he'd only answer with a vague "life finds a way!!!" Luckily the sharks didn't have to wait for the answer to this riddle as the ribbon soon form into a beautiful shark...who now calls Alice and Jann mother!
