In the realm of Hoenn, where ecological efforts were made for mankind to live hand in hand with nature, the structural damage caused by the Cataclysm was considerably less. However, over the months, the cities have fallen into decay in the Primal Lands, eroded by the elements of earth, water, wind and fire. When the year has passed, there'll be little to no remains of it ever existing.

Fortree was one such city. When it was found by nomadic Pokemorphs, the town had been dramatically choked with overgrowth. It was there that one of Celebi's "Echoes" were found. Reggie, Brother of Paul and kindhearted, asked to become the avatar to help the other Pokemorphs. It was an offer that Celebi accepted.

Under the Avatar's power, Fortree has been restored to its original state, a refuge for for the forgotten and unloved. Mons who'd suffered abuse by their previous owners or were abandoned and neglected found a new home here, a city where they could finally learn to be happy.

Concerning Celebi and the "Echoes"
During the incident of the Red Chain, Celebi had been travelling between space and time when time travel was shut off. Gradually he slowed down until she crashed into Pallet Town, where she fused with Professor Oak.

Thanks to Cyrus's power, there are now not just one Celebi but several, echoes of her presence separated by a mater of seconds, minutes, hours or even days. These multiple copies are indistinguishable from the original and share all the personality traits of Celebi. They do not, however, dare to leave where they were found under the fear of a time-space paradox. They're not aware of each other's presence...only that because the incident would call for such a result.
