as far as im concerned sonadow is literally cannon at this point X") they might not be in an active relationship on screen right now but i feel like its in their future (i dont think sega will ever show it though). its just... the homoeroticism is too palpable and the chemistry is too strong. they are so marriage-pilled

Yeah, you're totally right, I think they're canon, considering Sonic's words "I heart you too, Shadow", but I think it's the maximum that can be shown on the screen. I'm still happy about it ^^

plus shadow still has trust issues/barriers up around sonic that i feel like will only go away in the future. i can only imagine one day shadow stops being so closed-off around sonic and he starts smiling and laughing and being gentle/open. which makes my heart explode...... sit here and imagine it with me....... shadow not being grumpy because he has no reason to be. gah
