Aw, cute kitty. I do wonder though: You said it was Nightshade's cat in the first panel. Does she have a cat, too, or is it just Puzzle's silly cat?
I can only imagine where this is going...

The first part of the comic is at Nightshade's apartment, and then when Puzzle pops up, it's transitioned to Puz & Di's apartment. :3

And yeah, Nightshade owns a cat...haven't figured out a name for her yet. Was thinking Bast or Isis. Or maybe something more obscurely Egyptian :P

Heh, I too thought Puzzle was Patrick at first, until the context made it clearly otherwise. 'Probably should have noticed the earrings, though. The scene transition was a little confusing for a second, but I guess it's still better than falling back on "Meanwhile, at stately Wayne Manor..."

Am curious, though: who is native where and what kind of accents should we read into the different characters? As others have pointed out, Diamond gives a good clue several times ^_^

Hehe, yeah I figured the transition might be confusing, since there's no colour.

Well the characters have rather complicated living histories...but at the basic level, Diamond and Puzzle have English accents. Patrick has an American accent. Glitter's accent is English, with hints of her African origins. Nightshade has a vague English accent, but with some heavy Arabic tones to it. Ruby has a Chinese accent, and everyone else that appears in the story has a British accent :3

Even though this is just sketching I can definately see a difference between this comic and the one you linked in reference to the cat. You have improved a lot between these.
