Kaiba and the Blue Eyes White Dragon
I just barely managed to finish this painting in time for an event where Kaiba's english voice actor was attending and signing work! I am very very pleased with the outcome, in particular the colours used on the blue eyes' wings. I tried to create a reflective pearl finish while still maintaining the darker tone so Kaiba's coat wasn't lost in the details.

Sorry to hear those past-the-publishing-post regrets about some specifics, but the drawing is stunningly complex, finely rendered, accurate to the source material and dynamic!
And it's innately highly challenging, with two larger-than-life entities fighting for focus, and the show's trademark ridiculous wardrobe! Love the metallic reflective surfaces of the dragon and Seto Kaiba's leather pants, and that light iridescent luster on the white overcoat gives the garment a more luxurious look, for sure, although it is the crimson inverse lining of that lapel that makes the catches the eye.
