A nice simple healthy soup celebrating a blend of of colourful vegetables full of flavour from the kitchens of
foshu
So people ask me, "Foshu, how do you get through 2 months without meat?" I just eat those people.
Anyway, here's a recipe for some veggie soup I really like :3 Enjoy! Let me know if you ever try this and like/hate/have sex with it, I would love getting some opinions and suggestions.
Also obligatory watermelon chibis lol
THE FOLLOWING RECIPE IS ON THE SUBMISSION PHOTO
Red Lentil Noodle Soup
Ingredients
Vegetable stock – enough for 1 litre of soup base
125 g of Chinese noodles (any firm noodle will do)
2 carrots
150g of green beans
½ cup of red lentil
100g of bean sprouts
2 cloves of garlic
½ cup sweet soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp of pepper paste
Optionally, you can add a teaspoon of Trassi (shrimp paste).
It goes really well with the soup but it wouldn’t be vegetarian
Method
Wash the lentil and put them in a pan with a litre of water along with the stock, soy, oil, ginger and pepper paste.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Cut the carrots and beans.
Add them along with the noodles, garlic and bean sprouts into the boiling stock.
Let it simmer for another 15 minutes and stir the contents around occasionally.
Serve all hot and steamy! :3
