I knew the gear I had was more advanced than what the enemy had brought - far more advanced, actually. Now that I think about it, that really shouldn’t have made me feel any better, and in hindsight that day was terrifying.

In the moment though, I guess adrenaline won out - well that and the combat stim they injected into my side. Whew, that stuff was intense.
