Well it was when we had to fight Ur and the lost legion now Urs lap dog pun intended towards the end of the dagger rocket didn’t work. Rotwang was strongly considering the “David killing the engineers option” had they gotten the Dagwood to be transported to the twilight. Either he’d use a biological weapon or nuclear like weapon (in steampunk think I was pulling from a story from the SCP archives of the adventures of Lord Blackwood gentleman and adventurer where he was fighting a old version of 682 and he used a fellow adventurers pitchblende weapon aka a uranium bomb to seriously hurt 682. But yes that would have seriously shifted Rotwang lightly evil to sinister evil. I would have liked that Beth and Zack maybe not so much.
Yes I mean in our campaign he pretty much leveled three wolven cities had to polymorph himself as an elf to slip away from Reds forces and they killed a semi dead god in the end. But it ended on a bitter sweet note the “bad guy” remained in control since his measures did sequester a lot of the strife and in fighting. Rotwang kinda faded away he and his well eventual wife motoko went to the elven controlled lands there they helped them build up their society technologically along with the Hive society to counter balance against Reds empire.
