Welcome to the farm is story I'm working on where a an edgy college student named Baxter is slowly transformed into an anthropomorphic sheep.
Electro shock therapy may not be the most moral way to keep your employees in line but I never implied the doctor was a good person. Baxter is pretty shocked to find out about this being one of the collars features.

KZZZAPP! A sharp harsh pain was felt from my neck as I was shocked from the voltage coming out of the collar I was forced to put on.
Baxter: "OWWW!! WHY?! WTF!?"
Randy: "Oh yeah sorry abaat the collars."
Baxter: "What type of sketchy bastard uses electric collars?!"
Randy: "Sorry if the doc can baa, be... He can be a helluva alot some times..."
Randy's demeanor when talking about the mad scientist made it seem like the doctor was a sore spot when came to him.
